A Hole in my Heart (2004) is a very unpleasant watch. I kept waiting for a moment that would make the pain worthy, but it never came. I miss the point, just a few people living miserable lives.
Solaris (1972) is such a chore to watch, if we exclude the intro (which is before the lead goes to space), which presents an interesting scenario and some striking scenery. The phenomenon in outer space is not interesting, and neither is the lead performance.
